Our journey as a studio started over 15 years ago.

We are 3 women, a Brazilian from Minas Gerais, a Spaniard from the south and a Chilean from Santiago. We all met in Lisbon, where we found our place in the world. And on top of that, we found our craft here too.

Right now, two of us are in our studio between Mouraria and Castelo in Lisbon and Carina moved to São Miguel in the Azores and installed a Cor do Cobre atelier in the São Miguel workshops, a magical place full of light and nature around.

The art of enamelling on metal has been a constant learning process. We love the possibilities that emerge when combining the different shapes we can give to copper and the vast colours and tones of enamel. Every step of the way has it’s intricacies and requires a special kind of love and attention to detail.

All our pieces are handmade with dedication and care, which makes each one of them unique. That means there will always be slight differences between the models you see in the pictures and the piece we will make especially for you.
